Questions,answered.

Straight answers. Anything not covered here — ask us directly.

01

Are you business brokers?

No. Brokers act for sellers and are paid from the sale. We act only for buyers and owners, and we take nothing from the other side of the table.

02

Do you sell businesses?

No. We don't take sell-side mandates, and we don't accept seller commissions — that's structural, so our advice stays clean.

03

Who pays you?

Only you. We work for a management fee, as your partner with our own stake, or a structure in between — defined in the written agreement for each engagement. See How we charge.

04

Do you invest your own money?

In select engagements, yes — alongside our client, as principal, on terms defined in a written agreement. When we believe in the deal, we can share the risk.

05

Is there a minimum size?

No stated minimum. The engagement scales to the project; the standard of control does not change.

06

Where do you operate?

Business engagements run across the United States, coordinated from New York. The construction practice serves New York.

07

Can you run the business without me?

Yes. With you, or for you — from oversight and reporting up to full day-to-day management under an agreed mandate.

08

I'm outside the US. How does this work?

One point of contact, written reports on a set cadence, calls in your timezone, every decision documented. See For investors.

09

Are you a registered broker-dealer or investment adviser?

No — and nothing on this site is an offer of securities or investment, legal, or tax advice. See our Disclosures.

10

How does an engagement begin?

A confidential conversation. Then, if it makes sense: an NDA where needed, a defined mandate, and a written agreement before any work begins.
